"The guy who's about to kill batman" Ugh.....

This would have been a cringy line for even Harley, in her sidekick/"romantic" partner period, to say. Punchline? Its even worse. This comment with her posture is supposed to be threatening, but it falls flat when so many true threats have done it before and better....instead of an obsessed groupie trying to be threatening.

And a pair of nameless goons somehow having access to a batmobile? Ok

If Joker’s plan is to have his men control Gotham with Batman’s technology why wouldn’t goons have access to Batman’s vehicles?

Well, the villains do what they do because they think there's a good chance they can win. As much as I appreciate the fatalistic pragmatism of, say, a Batroc, I don't think that that works if every villain goes into the fight assuming they're going to lose.

Tbh I thought the worst part about that line was how little she knows the Joker, if she thinks he actually wants Batman dead.

But then they seemed to play with her not 'getting him' later, so I guess it paid off.

This time around Joker has said he wants one of them to die. I wouldn't be surprised if Joker does "die" in #100 only to come back later.

Well I enjoyed this issue, other than those pages with Joker in swimming trunks; those made me want to set my monitor on fire.

I haven't been paying attention to the Batbooks lately - how is Batman talking to Alfred? Hallucination, AI, different person, or did I miss him coming back?

I think it’s an AI like Jarvis in the movies but he’s also been hallucinating Alfred due to the Joker toxin.

Batman fighting in blindfolds was pretty badass. The Theater sequence was amazing and really like the Joker getting inside of Bruce's head, literally using dead bodies to haunt Batman on is failures.

Well, that take on the originally nameless movie that the Waynes were watching didn't come around until the mid-80s, as a detail added by Frank Miller. So really, the movie they were watching could be the Banderas version NOW.

Yeah, if he saw the movie when he was 8, he would be thirty right about now. (Maybe a little young with the character history, but that the character has never had a hard reboot makes his truncated baggage improbable anyways) We're actually now getting into territory where big budget superhero movies would be a common childhood memory for people well into adulthood. Imagine Bruce Wayne watching his parents gunned down just coming out of the Ben Affleck DAREDEVIL. Overall, a very bad night.
