I have mixed feelings about this, to be honest.

As much as I want the movie to succeed, I'm not confident in the Rock's acting ability. I wonder if he's willing to put his character first, over his brand.

He was pretty great in Jumanji.

I loved him in Hercules, personallly.

I have mixed feelings too. I fell he'll do a good job. I'm not sure that right now is the time for a well-liked celeb to play an antihero.

My main problem is, is the Rock willing to compromise his likeability for the sake of the story?

Or is he gonna pull a Will Smith, and make other characters act like dicks while he does the 80s, watered down anti-hero thing?

How long has this been in the works? I feel like there’s been a Black Adam project starring the Rock in development for over ten years.
