Trump would be a lot closer to a Captain Planet villain; Already visually exagerrated, but the more you think about the implications of what they do, the less cartoonish and more actually evil you realise they are.

I normally love characters like Bomb Queen and I like Bomb Queen on paper (well, theoretical paper), but her books (or at least the ones I’ve read) never really clicked with me. They lack charm, that’s crass edginess gets stale really quickly, and Bomb Queen herself feels like too much of a villain sue to properly get behind or against (to me, anyway).

Hey, is this still in the same continuity as Spawn and Savage Dragon? How would they react to this kind of thing?

The concept is great - "What if a super villain won?"

It isn't like the Arkham games where Gotham is a place completely populated by villains; Bomb Queen has civilians who live and work under her rule

The execution is so juvenile and badly handled.

And even the craft here seems pretty poor. So much text!

I have no problem with villain protagonists but everything I've seen of Bomb Queen is just unpleasant. I don't see the appeal. The Obama miniseries had her putting a bomb on Obama's dog to blow up his daughters. Is that supposed to be funny?

I remember years ago planning to purchase the Obama story, but it just got added to that huge "to buy someday" pile.
