If I was Superman I'd have explained to the kid that Kryptonains breed by laying eggs inside host bodies "...which then hatch and eat their way out... just like humans, right?" just to see his face...

(Which means it's probably a good thing I'm not Superman)

Hell, he could traumatize the kid without lying.

"Of course! You and your most complimentary genetic match have tissue samples taken, artificial meiosis is induced in the lab, your genetic material is combined and injected into an egg, then the developing fetus is placed in a birthing matrix until it's grown enough to be viable and disgorged. After that, it's just a matter of robots taking care of the baby until it attains sentience!"

Issues like this are why I'm gentler on Bendis than seemingly most readers. I love how this kid is just the right age to give Superman unsolicited sex advice.
