I had a sketch done once with Luke Skywalker at Padme's grave.
There was less violence, but it was supposed to take place after ROTJ.

Vader spares the handmaidens, though he chokes them all simultaneously? Did he knock them out? It is intriguing that this comic series fleshes out VadeR character more.

I think Vader's choke hold is kind of unique because he doesn't necessarily use it as a kill move.
If you count the prequels. Vader used choking five times. not counting the one time he does it with his own hands, he uses it to kill twice and he spares the person twice. So you could argue it is the closest Vader has to a non-killing move.

I am dying laughing at the idea that fucking Force Choke is the closest thing Vader can get to using non-lethal force.

Especially considering the Force can literally pin people to the ground (or the ceiling if you want to show off)

If only there were a way for a Force user to disarm someone without touching them.

*thinks about his "fight" with Han in Empire*

Yep, if only there were a way.

Yeah, he didn't particularly need the Stormtroopers or Boba Fett (not that anyone ever needs them). He had it covered.

Though, given the track record of force users (especially Vader and Obi Wan) "disarming" people, Han was lucky to keep the hand that blaster was attached to.
