X-Men continuity is some nonsense. There are no rules here. There is no order. Just random unconnected gibberish. I just wrote 5000 words on when someone can, and cannot, utter the phrase "Omega Level." This is a job I have in the United States of America. -- Jonathan Hickman
So, are the kids metaphorical or something? Is this a vision being implanted in them in their pods? Why do they look just like older mutants? Is that Molly Hayes? If this is a metaphor and not just children cosplaying as their idols, does that mean she died? Why would she buy into any of this spiel? Come to think of things, what do the Runaways think of this whole thing?
If that really is Molly, I wonder how they’ll reconcile this “humans bad” attitude she’s adopting here with her friendship with the rest of the Runaways.
I think it's just an unnamed mutant moppet; note the circle on her forehead, and she's younger than Molly's been in a while (even if it is hard to guess at ages when most comic book artists aren't great at drawing children).
Has anyone considered that Moria has the power and capacity to set up the whole Krakoa thing? And by "Moria" I don't mean Moria MacTaggart, but the Legion personality Moria that could create universes, complete with pasts.
Anyway, pretty sure this run will end with Moria dying and resetting X-Men continuity.
Also, "Do you have any idea on how many worlds I had stood facing someone like you?" Yes I do. Its less than the number one.
I mean this is the last remnant of a not very militaristic race that has hid away on a small area of the earths moon for thousands of years. You're not exactly an experienced commander.
Love seeing Magneto get some respect. Also, poo on Cotati planning if their force gets wiped by pretty much one mutant.
Moira dying is the best possible future for everyone. Her original timeline, before her first 'respawn' had none of the disastrous events of her later attempts to 'fix' things. The obvious conclusion is that her interference in events is what has caused all the calamity that mutants have suffered.
Reading those snippets of interview, it seems like there's two Hickmans. Interview Hickman, who makes annoyingly sensible and rational statements (most of the time), and Writer Hickman.
Not sure which is the one that comes out at night, but it's probably Interview Hickman.
