Date: 2020-09-23 10:50 am (UTC)I agree that the Dems have the tendency to let their civility get in the way of actually getting shit done (Mrs. Obama, you are a wonderful person and I love you, but "they go low, we go high" is an absofuckinglutely terrible strategy that is guaranteed to fuck you over. It's why the side with 30% support has been driving the country for 40 years).
At the same time, the Left is stuck in this loop where people refuse to vote Dem because the Dems aren't doing enough -> the Dems get too few seats and are effectively rendered powerless so they can't do anything regardless of intentions -> people refuse to vote Dems.
