One bonus of having a week off work is getting to buy comics during the week. This issue has a gorgeous cover, but unfortunately it has nothing to do with the contents.

One bonus of buying from a newsagents rather than having a subscription is that I can stop buying once it's no longer of interest. This is a bumper-size 'jumping on' prog with new stories, but the line-up is not one that interests me. Thus, there will be no Best Page posts from me for the forseeable future, at least until the next shake-up of the title's line-up. However many weeks that may be.
Still! While the cover really was the best page, inside we did get a look at the madness of Mega-City One citizens, with a cameo from another famous comicbook character...

If you ever do have to loot, then portable high value non perishable goods with good resale value is definitely the way to go over short term perishables which are probably bulky and heavy and thus difficult to move and/or store.
