Here is hoping it works. The relationship between Damian and Steph was adorable in her Batgirl book, and it was a tragedy to lose that.

I'm reminded of Scrooge's exasperated comment to Dewey and Webby when they worry that their friendship is in trouble.

"Of course you're not friends! You drive each other crazier than anyone could and still care about each other more than anyone! You're not friends — you're family!"

I really love the reboot, it's so much better than any reboot has the right to be.

honestly, if anyone is able to retain themselves after the Lazarus pit, it's Stephanie. even if she's a little dark, i mean... thats's like a dark spot in the sun... hardly noticeable. maybe she'd stab Damien instead of just playfully punch him... he'd appreciate that.

I really love Talia in this comics and enjoy the relationship between Damian and Talia , very classic Talia . Before Grant Morrison decided to destroy her character for whatever agenda he has in mind.
If this Talia was with Bruce , I'd always support them over Bruce Selina .

People say that and I won't deny some of it definitely didn't match-but I dunno. Since the beginning, Talia has generally been at least passively okay with her dad murdering billions of people, revealing she was an evil mastermind the whole time doesn't seem like huge stretch to me.

Morrison's Talia is a completely OOC Talia , so I don't even consider her Talia even.
She being okay with what Ra's aims or rather claims to work for , a better world , she's shown many times that she doesn't really approve of some of his over aggressive murdering ways and showed many times her willingness to change and leave that life forever for her love for Bruce , which is more than I can say for his other prominent comics book love interest.
So yes , it was a huge stretch for which Grant Morrison received and must always receive much flak from fans of Bruce-Talia and Talia as a character. She was not his to mess with.

Yeah, I still don't reall see it. Morrison revealing somebody who was generally conditionaly okay with murdering billions was actualyl an awful person this whoel time doesn't seem liek a stretch to me.

And frankly, ou comparing what Talia and Ra's do to Selian as if Talia is the morall superior one? That's utterly laughable.

Well to each his / her own. For me the idea that Selina , a thief and a kleptomaniac ,is even remotely better than Talia - that is what is utterly laughable. It's Harley Quinn or Deathstroke all over again. A villain character given a false hero spin just because they somehow got popular and every thing is about sells.
And yes , Morrison trying to destroy Talia's characterization was useless because his Talia was utterly OOC. Just like , most characters in comic books are OOC in some of their comic versions from time to time. That includes every single hero , including the trinity. Yet , those versions are not counted.
I do however understand and respect that any longstanding chracter will go through such phrase from time to time , it's inevitable. But I find it hilarious that Selina fans behave like ( I'm not talking about you just to be extra clear . ) her character is even an iota better than Talia , who was such an interesting and beautifully written female characters of DC.
