A Supervillain breaks into the Fortress of solitude. And turn hacks the defensive weapons against Superman. Superman also been bombarded with gold kryptonite.

















The Key stumbled towards Superman and then gets punched out.




Besides liking that he having backup contingency weapons of Batman, wonder woman and Aquaman. I also like that Superman has a great relationship with the space animals in the fortress.

Ok, is this one of those Golden or Silver Age things that never gets brought up anymore (can't Wonder Woman talk to animals?) or is this more a "guy talking to his pets" situation?

Either way, I've had a soft spot for the Key ever since the Morrison JLA but this was never going to end well for him... not that it ever does.

Supes did have a cosmic menagerie in the Silver Age (and picked up one in the Animated Series, too) but this is, to my knowledge, the first time he's been shown to have friendly relationships with the creatures who live there.

Gotta love Geoff Johns being all "Aquaman DOESN'T talk to fish, he's too badass for that silly crap", meanwhile Superman chats with his alien shark buddy and everyone agrees it's awesome.
