I'm really intrigued by this series and might look to pick up the trade, especially since I've been hankering to try some more Image stuff again lately. That said, I'm a bit wary because it reminds me a touch of Kot's previous series, Zero, which turn a hard turn into metafiction at the end which did nothing for me when I first read it.
