The big line item for me in these solicits is the second last issue of Coates' Black Panther run finally arriving a full 11 months after the previous installment.

Avengers Mech Strike looks like a perfectly inoffensive little series, but man is that Spider-Man mech unerwhelming when stacked up next to Sp//dr.

Immortal Hulk continues to look great. With it heading into the final stretch (50 is supposed to be the end, right?) I'm more excited than ever.

Welp, I guess that's another reason not to read Swords of X. Yet another one of my favourites getting fridged? I'll pass.

I am really starting to lose interest in the X-Men comics. I have paused my subscriptions until the event is over. I think the only ones I will pick up again are New Mutants and Marauders. Maybe Hellions.

About six months after HoX/PoX, I discovered I was cool with waiting for issues on Marvel Unlimited. Some of the discourse I've seen about X of Swords here has vindicated that decision. (I really enjoyed the first issue of the new X-Factor, for what it's worth.)

If you are referring to Betsy do not despair just yet. There is an excellent chance that she is going to be alright and either not really be dead or else find a way to return based on future solicits/covers for Excalibur that have come out so far

The Marvel Mangaverse did feature the Avengers as the pilots of vehicles that combined into a giant robot. But the robot was just a big Iron Man, so pretty disappointing.

Mech-Strike looks a million times more interesting just from that cover alone.

I'm sure they'll invent some contrived reason that she was never a mutant to begin with. There's a lot of that going around.

Actually, I never got around to watching the show but what was her deal there? Inhuman? It was before Disney got Fox so she couldn't have been a mutant.

In any case, yay Runaways! I’m pleasantly surprised to see that’s lasted as long as that has.

I have mixed feelings. I like the characters but I think it peaked with BKV. Still, while I disagree with a lot of the decisions in the fourth series, at least it isn't aggressively terrible like the third series.

Personally I much prefer the current series to the BKV one. Especially for finally making Karolina and Nico a canon couple because I adore the two of them together both in the comics and in the show

Looking back at the BKV run there's a lot there that I feel honestly has not aged well at all. And perhaps that will be true of this run as well who can say. But personally I am enjoying the current series much than I did the BKV issues when I went back and re-read them
