Okay may be missing context without more pages but ending is surprisingly upbeat for a Dark Multiverse tale.

Reversed flash had a fight with Superman. Thomas Wayne batman made a plan with Cyborg. But Thomas Wayne betrayed everyone. While in the middle of fighting, Batman use sonic noise weapons to subdue them.

Superman saved Reverse flash from gatling gun bullets. Because Superman and Cyborg didn’t want to killed Eobard Thawne.

Thomas Wayne batman disabled cyborg and shot superman in the head with a Kryptonite bullet. He was going to force reverse flash to go back in time and saved his son, one way or another.


That inspired Eobard Thawne to change his plans and change history to a twisted positive way.

Though seeing Barda as ruler of Apokolips was pretty cool.

Though it is... I don't want to say weird, but the idea that if the psychopathic villain is allowed to go crazy on an entire world, the outcome is still somehow better than a heroes' misguided attempt to fix his own mother's death is... pretty unsettling.
Par for the course with DC the last... forever, but still.


... and what is going on with that last panel? Where's everyone going? Are they bearing down on some poor, hapless thug?

The straight answer is, they're opposing some unfortunate would-be invader of Thawne's Earth. The twisted one is probably closer to your guess.
