I love that, too! Seeing Clark in his Superman costume eating chocolate chip cookies in the Kent kitchen while Krypto naps on the rug and Clark talks over things with his parents...warm fuzzies! :)

Also love that Martha essentially said that when they took on raising Clark, they took on his Mission, too. The world is very, very lucky that the Kents found that baby in the rocket that day.

It's after the decline of the Viking Age proper, and it's honestly mostly just because I've been reading about it recently, but given that climate change in the form of the Little Ice Age (or, more properly, the end of the Medieval Warm Period) did probably play a key role in the failure of Norse settlements in Greenland, I kind of wish this had been set there.

Mostly so I could go "Hey, I was just reading about this! Neat!"
