I can see absolutely no way at all for that decision and frankness coming back to haunt Barry. None at all. Even trying to think of one is an insurmountable struggle.

Is it too much to hope that Black Adam will be reasonable and not a complete asshole? I like the idea of him basically being DC's Namor: superhuman ruler of an independent nation, whose primary interests are towards his people, but who skews more good than evil when it all comes down to it.

Well, if you want to be optimistic, Catman and Bronze Tiger generally antiheroes, and the last version of Silver Banshee we saw was quite a nice person.

Plus, Lanning tends to be a bit more nuanced.

Though I wouldn't put money on it.

I've been wondering about Namor's take on Krakoa, actually. I could see him getting on board with some of Magneto's more economically ambitious rhetoric, provided Krakoa promised certain environmental measures towards which they already seem ideologically aligned.

Of course, a big question is whether there's a population of X-gene positive Atlanteans (are there any Atlanteans left these days? How recently has Atlantis been destroyed?), because I don't see Namor getting on board with the idea that their first identity should be Krakoan.
