Dunno who this guy is or why they're calling him Rictor, because he sure as ***** isn't acting like him.
Maybe that's why Shatterstar's staying away. Can't be easy seeing your love suddenly start dating some older creep and turn into their head cheerleader.

And, y'know... he's Apocalypse. He was a would-be genocidal maniac who went around turning people into his brainwashed minions. He sucked! He was a terrible person.
Be glad the asshat is gone.
(There is nothing about this treatment of Apocalypse that is not creepy and stupid.

Yeah...I admit he was important to Krakoa, but he played god with the team and made decisions concerning them without their permission repatedly. Rictor's behavior here either seems like the hint that he had fallen for him or was more or less fully believing what Apocalypse preached.

Not gonna lie, not bad to see him somewhere else for the moment.

I really hate what they've done with Rictor also. I don't even recognize this character anymore. (Then again, I'm stuck in the X-Force 90's era of badass Rictor.)

I don't understand his thing with Apocalypse and I went back and re-read the issues a few times. But then again, I don't understand how everyone is cool with him and the other terrible mutants of the past all hanging out on sexy times island and drinking Mai Thais and acting like the whole 'murder people and your friends' thing was no big deal.

Apocalypse is one of the worst bad guys in the X-Men. Yet they throw Sabretooth down the hole even though at one point Sabes totally bailed out Generation X and was on a road to redemption until they decided to throw that in reverse.

I'm hate reading the issues at the moment hoping for a big reveal in which we all find out they're brain washed.

No Rictor, we're not drinking to Apocalypse. See, Betsy is dead, whereas Apocalypse moved back in with his wife and horrible kids. That's not even close to being the same thing.

Also, Betsy was a hero and friends with most of us for decades of real time. Apocalypse was a genocidal lunatic who frequently violated people's minds and bodies. Even lately he's just been manipulating us.

Seriously, we thought you knew all this. Were you not paying attention when the real Cable trained you? Because he talked about Apocalypse, like, a lot.

Just to be absolutely clear: We are sure Charles isn't dropping the memory backups in the coffee pots at this point, right?

Jesus, can you imagine the riots in the comments section given the whole "Krakoa as a safe space" allegory?

Given how obviously dysfunctional and doomed Krakoa clearly is, that's a dangerous allegory to go with. At best, it's a toxic space that excuses known serial predators like Apocalypse and Sinister.

No scans of the part where Sinister literally compares himself to Ursula?

Because I've had the mental image of him dancing around his evil lair singing Poor Unfortunate Souls while Jamie Braddock tries to please get him to be serious for a minute in my head all day because of it

And yeah I feel like the writer of this book has never really got Rictor's voice right. And the whole friendship/maybe romantic feelings for Apocalypse thing was just a bizarre choice to me

The entire team just deciding that the way life is going right now means it's time to do some serious day drinking though?

Huzzah, the great pretender returns. The only good thing about her I can see from here on in is that she hopefully gets a Marvel Legends figure eventually.

Poor Rictor, he’s all hopped up on the flavor aid. Maybe with Big A gone Excalibur can work on non-Krakoan affairs again.
