Jon comes up with a lot plan to defeat the Minotaur by binding his legs with Damien’s Batrope. Which to trip him and the knock him out.

These two together always gives me a warm tingly fuzzy feeling. Yes Bendis , you're absolutely right , this is what they should only be doing ! ;))

He basically showed a middle finger to the Super son fans because he's salty a AF !
In his last issue of the action comics, he made one character shout out to jon , " You should pair up with Robin , that is all you should ever do ! " lol , you can practically lick the salt off the pages.

Batman has no "contingency" against Jon because he knows if he just waits long enough, Jon will be shoved onto a bus / erased from existence and he won't have to do anything.

Also because if Lois learned about this she'd cut him into tiny, tiny pieces and feed the remains to crocodiles.


Also also: Batman has an anti-Wonder Woman plan and that's stupid and I hate it forever.

I hate it too. It feels like Bendis flexing on other writers who established that Batman has no effective countermeasure against Diana.

I'm also pretty sure that the idea of a Lasso of Lies as Batman's anti-Wonder Woman contingency has shown up before, in one of those "The League asks Batman to calm down a second, so he has to evade/take them out and finish whatever's driving him this week," moments.

Batman has said, since New52 I think, that Wonder Woman is the one Leaguer he hasn't got a contingency plan for because he hasn't been able to come up with one. (Whereas he did have one in Tower of Babel)

Look, I'm not saying it's internally consistent, I'm just saying it has come up before.

And I should have mentioned this before, its also functionally stupid because it establishes, in contravention to everything Diana stands for conceptually, that the purest form of lies can and will defeat the literal fires of truth.
