Always like the design of Ash's queen costume. Everything she kept hidden, her murder-arm, and her dictator-eye are now out in full display. And yes there's a metaphor about Ash and closets somewhere in this.

I like how the story takes the typical isekai (or hell the typical fantasy) story about becoming gaining power and becoming a ruler and putting a cynical edge to it. It's very much not a good thing.

Part of me wishes Kieron was a little subtler on dialogue. Like for Zarmona's like "I am what Charlotte wished. I am what you all wished.", you could cut the line there and it'd be a stronger statement. No need to overexplain what you're getting at. There are powerful cutting lines in Kieron's dialogue, but they get buried.

Liked Ash's fight with the tame dictators too that's not in the scans. Outside of the meta-ness Kieron is good at coming up with cool fantasy concepts.

I'm really enjoying this series

Wicked + The Divine is still my favourite Gillen series but so far I'm enjoying this one as well and I'm finding it interesting and fun
