So... Solaris in one story, the Hyperclan here... Wait a minute, are DC just doing a Best of Morrison?
And, uh, no socializing like at all? Ever? How does that even work? I mean, even in your more dysfunctional offices people tend to make small talk... what happens if someone just makes polite conversation? "Well, I asked Batman about the weather. Next thing I know, I've been kicked out of the Justice League."
They've run out of Moore ideas to copy so they've moved on to Morrison.
The JL thing just sounds like normal office drama to me. "Batman just grunts when I try to talk to him but I know Green Arrow and Flash more than I want to because Ollie is very loud and it's hard to ignore all of Barry's personal calls when you sit across from him and have superhearing. They should really fire Green Lantern but I don't want to be here when they do because I know Hal will make a scene."
That's not really a fair comparison. Morrison spend their entire career introducing ideas and concepts that they intended to stick and left for other writers to re-use, only for them to be done away with and ignored. That new writers, many of whom probably grew up on those as fans, are bringing them back now just means they are treated the same way most writers of their prominence are.
The best part of all of this issue is the fact that Aquawoman is either lesbian or bisexual and she and the new Flash are definitely falling in love with each other
Their scene together in this issue was so cute!
I was surprised to see the Hyperclan again here but it was a nice surprise

In universe the idea is meant to be seen as a bad idea so if you think it sounds ridiculous that is the point
