Typo!

Seriously how does a book get published with such a glaring typo. It a "widow's complaints" not "windows complaint." Unless she was complaining about Microsoft which is possible.

This response also has a typo but I don't have editors.

I think editing is out of style. Ever read a book recently published and see all the typos? Sheesh!

It's ridiculous.

I thought the Red Sonja mistake in my post was bad, but the Windows Complaints took me out of the story and made me go and check the actual gospel of Luke

Careful. You know what they say about people who live in glass horses.

"It appears you are trying to kill the Batman. Would you like some help with that?"

That was a wonderfully decontextualizing typo.

I laughed at it, then continued to engage with the story.

Tom King writing something specifically to make his wife cry seems hilariously on-point for him.

I know that's not what he did but it's still funny to me.

It's better than what Mark Millar accomplished with The Unfunnies which, by his own admission, made his wife throw it at him in disgust, only six pages in. :-)

I still love the Action Comics 1000 anecdote where he tells someone he wrote "the sad one" in the issue and they respond with "oh, you must be Tom King".
