"It is a direction that the solicit writers have deemed bold and new. But my real tease is that it ends up being a wonderful thematic twist to the then-new status quo I tried to set up for Juggy the last time I wrote him!" - Fabian Nicieza

I....realized that Juggernaut is usually made a mutant in some adaptions, but I thought he would be accepted or given amnesty to Kraoka for some reason or other.

He's Xavier's step-brother and non-mutant family members are allowed but Chuck told him "Sorry man, mutants only." so idk

I just looked it up. So this is an actual plot point and Xavier is being personal about this.

So it's interesting how this develops...

Non-mutants are allowed on Krakoa with permission so I'm guessing that yeah either Xavier just doesn't want Cain on the island or Nicieza didn't bother to actually read the X-comics Marvel is publishing and just skimmed them and thought that there was a blanket ban on humans setting foot on Krakoa for any reason

Given how much Xavier hates his brother and given Nicieza's "Skill" as a writer either explanation seems likely to me

Err, what?

Fabian's better at handling other people's canon than 90% of current Marvel writers

Including some that like to pat themselves on the back for being great with continuity.

You'd think that Tom would still invite him and coax Krakoa into being cool with it.

Perhaps he's worried that Cain would get him falling back into bad habits and going back to his villainous ways?

Setting aside Cain's political status on Krakoa, I thought it was the case that the portals specifically only worked for mutants. So even if Cain were allowed on the island, he couldn't pop through with Miranda here.

I mean, he could probably just *walk* there, unless Krakoa's a floating island. (Which... it might be, actually?) In which case he could walk to underneath it and then inflate some balloons or something...

I kinda speculated that Krakoa might have vetoed Cain on account of him being an Avatar of Cyttorak. I could see it drawing the line there.

to be fair to Chuck, Caine was abusive to him for a lot of their childhood. at least based on what I remember reading.

"Corporate interests." Ah, the real life supervillians.

Juggernaut protecting the life of a nazi might be one of the stupidest things he's ever done. And that's REALLY saying something

He should tear that worthless lump of scrap metal apart and smash whatever microchips it has for a brain into powder

Much as I agree with you, isn't Zola's whole shtick that destroying his robot body doesn't kill him so much as just download him into a new body? It's more of an inconvenience than an actual defeat/death, making it mostly wasted effort.

Personally I'd take something like Zola telling me that it couldn't die as a personal challenge to find a way to kill it and make it stick

Like that bit in the Simpsons Halloween Special where Bob repeatedly clones Bart and keeps murdering him in new ways each time

"She's going to run away the first chance she gets."

That's an odd way to put it. Is she a minor being made into a ward of Krakoa or something? I get how, if she's claiming asylum on Krakoa, her leaving could be both personally dangerous and politically inconvenient, but it isn't like Krakoa is keeping mutants there against their will.

Krakoa’s like Hotel California, you can check out any time you like but you can never truly leave.
