There's plenty that's wildly unrealistic about the Punisher! But not this, I don't think. Micro is Frank's oldest friend and needs, however inadvisably, to unburden himself.

Heroin smuggled in GI body bags? People in the know say Frank Lucas didn't do that. And this was (I think) done before American Gangster (2007).
