Yeah. Hopefully the next trailer will showcase them in an entirely different manner to make us wonder who actually lives and who dies. Like, the scene with the Thinker on the rooftop looks like an early one before the mission goes horribly wrong and they need a second team, but what if the briefing room is the first lineup and then most of -them- die and anyway, KING FUCKING SHARK.

This movie is leaning into comic book madness in a way the recent DCCU doesn't seem keen on, and frankly I am here for that!

Just showed this to my 17yo daughter, who grew up with shows like "Batman: The Brave and the Bold". Her jaw dropped and she punched the air when Starro was shown. "If you told me Starro's live-action debut would be in an R-Rated movie, Dad, I'd have called you a liar," she laughed.

Michael Rooker would not have been my choice for Savant, but, hey, I like Rooker, so why not.

(Hmm...do Rooker and Gunn work together a lot? Everything of Gunn's I'm familiar with, Rooker's been in it. Granted, merely a brief appearance in the stinger for Brightburn, but still...)
