I'm confused.
I mean, it was weird for American Chavez to be Miss America if she was an alien from Utopia and not an america citizen. And yeah, there was actually a BIG plot hole there, about what she did when she was stranded in the demiurgo's home earth. But it's just so strange to see her in this way (admitting she didn't have much of a personality in Young Avengers).

YA (and Ultimates) was the one time I liked her.

Granted her introduction in Vengeance and her original ongoing were both pretty awful so the bar is low.

So I've only read the America Chavez appearances that have been posted here, but I've never really understood what her deal was supposed to be. The impression I got was that she was supposed to be capable of traversing dimensions and was intentionally created to be flawless, this is the first thing I've seen that contradicts that impression

I think some of that might be a front. She came from a paradise but it would have stopped being a paradise after her parents died. That's when she threw herself into the universe-hopping superhero thing.

Don't know if they can use that name, but i can see the villain being something along those lines.
