Sebastian Shaw is trying to have Krakoa resurrect Lordes Chantel. Who appeared in ONE back-up story in CLASSIC X-MEN #7.

I was wrong. Lordes Chantel also appeared in an "X-Men: Hellfire Club" miniseries.

Not a general fan of the long lost sibling concept, but I think it can be made to work for Spidey. Hopefully this isn't the start of them undoing it.

I always liked the Chameleon as a villain but - when you regularly get beaten by the non-powered Parkers* - maybe it's a sign that supervilliany isn't for you.

*I know everyone points to the time Aunt May drugged him but I personally enjoyed MJ beating him with a baseball bat.

I think it kind of works? Chameleon really isnt a supervillain in that sense, he is a spy: His job is to pretend to be someone else, get the information his clients wants. He is pretty good at it, its just that whenever he tries to fight or do something else he is terrible at it.

Right. Unlike every Spider-Man writer who tries to put him on the Sinister Six, I get that he isn't meant to be a physical threat.

I just think that the sneaky guy tends to do poorly against a guy who can literally sense danger. Once his elderly aunt sees you coming maybe its time to either retire or go bother Captain America's supporting cast.

Dimitri remembers Peter Parker and Spider-Man are one and the same?
He figured it out in SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #242-245. Dimitri also "realized" he and Kraven are half brothers. Whether not they are depends because Dimitri wasn't entirely mentally stable at the time. (Meaning he is stable now?)

Who remembers what after ONE MORE DAY and ONE MOMENT IN TIME seems to be a "Who cares?" matter.

I mean, the brothers retcon works because one is seen as a legitimate part of a noble family whereas the other is a bastard. Of course it was a dark family secret.

Between a childhood of beatings and an adulthood of pretending to be other people (and getting more beatings) I just assume "stable" is a lost cause and you just have to hope for "functional"

I know not even Slott followed Slott's rules but didn't the "psychic blind spot" officially go out the window when Peter used his powers openly in Spider-Island? After that a bunch of people were able to put together that Peter is Spider-Man again even if they don't remember knowing before. Dimitri is pretty high on the list of people who should be able to figure it out with the information available to them.

It wasn’t Slott’s rules, the whole thing was from the Brain Trust.

But yes when Peter used his powers and was filmed the blind spot went out the window.
