Context is for the weak, but to answer the question in the title, no, we don't need Archie Comics. Married Life shown definite end to the stories of major characters and nothing much can be added to it, unless you decide to flip the table as Afterlife with Archie did, and that miniseries was not updated in ages and its copycats are even more cliched, boring and sexist.
