I dunno, I feel like we're supposed to be seeing Beast as unequivocally having taken his mandate too far, and everything else that's going on is supposed to look better by comparison. I'm also starting to wonder if they do plan to rehabilitate him, or if he's just going to keep heading down the path toward villain with occasional flashes of antihero.
