No, I think you're in safe ground... Dick turned 18 and went to college in 1969, so unless something is clearly stated to be before then, assume that any material of Dick as Robin from the 1970/80's he's in his late "Teen Wonder" era and is 18 or 19.

Are they allowed if we hold it in Scotland? Drinking age, with parental permission, in Scotland is five years old for non spirits. With parental permission it is sixteen for spirits, although you are not allowed to buy either spirit or non-spirit drinks until eighteen...officially. The pub in the town I grew up in had a policy of if you could see over the bar to order, then they were prepared to believe you were eighteen.
