Those fantasy versions of their future lives are just amazing, like a shortened, sexualized version of the story of the blind men and the elephant. And the art on them, GOD the art! I miss Darwyn Cooke... I can easily accept that the Nineties were thirty years ago no problem, but I can't believe he's five years gone. Get checked for cancer and treasure your time, guys.

There are only a few deaths of non family members that rattled me, but Darwyn's was one of them. What a huge, huge loss.

Yeah, it was right up there with Pratchett's death for me. Unlike Sir Terry, I didn't even know Cooke was sick until right before the end.

Peter as Archie Andrews? Yeah. Yeah, I could see it.

It's weird. I'm not sure I've ever seen "Peter has multiple dates at the same time" in a story set in the present but I've seen it more than once in stories set in the past.

It's like MJ and Gwen as Betty and Veronica in that it seems to be something the writers have collectively decided is an old Spider-Man trope even though it wasn't really ever a thing.

Though honestly, this seems perfectly in character behavior for Peter.
