Peter should count himself lucky that Crusher never became a supervillain and went after him.

Funny thing is he ends up becoming a big Spider-Man fan and telling people he was the one who trained him. When Spider-Man rescues him later on, he goes along with Crusher's stories and says "Yep, I sure learned a lot from Crusher."

he writes about Roscoe "Sputnik" Munroe fighting the Jim Crow laws in Memphis, Edward "The Sheik" Farhat, Andy Kaufman and Jerry Lawler's feud, and of course my favorite tag team, Randy and Bill Mulkey (who only ever wone ONE match and that was against fellow jobbers, the Gladiators). the book is full of stories about kayfabe. it is a really good read,

Just in case you dont' know Scott Levy is best known as ECW icon Raven so he helped with the wrestling aspects of this feeling so real.

Aside from Crusher Hogan and Maxie Schiffman, did anyone else at the arena know the masked wrestler later became Spider-Man? It would be interesting in an "I knew him when" sort of way.

AFAIK, Maxie Schiffman hasn't appeared since WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #90.

This issue was co-written by the wrestler Raven(Scott Levy). I like it because it gives depth to Crusher and even the promoter. The promoter especially is usually written like a jerk, but here we see that cares about Crusher and the other wrestlers.
