Just got an email asking me to "release the Batman/Giant Days crossover", unfortunately it was never scripted, or drawn. I have notes so I could still write it, but if I draw it, Detective Comics Comics will make me take it down and I'll have wasted a month.

I'll tell you this, though, and I'll tell you it for free, never has anyone pitched a project with so little contemporary knowledge of the billion-dollar corporate character who constituted the main draw of it.

But it was Detective Comics Comics' loss because now they will NEVER get to see what it looks like when the raw firepower of the Giant Days art style is unleashed on Gotham City... oh... wait - John Allison



So...as I remember it, in Season 2 of Harley Quinn the Animated Series, Ivy was going out with Kite Man (Hell Yeah!), he proposed, she said yes, they were sent to Bane's underground prison, they escaped, they kissed



Ivy was still getting married to Kite-Man (Hell Yeah), Harley was all confused, and then they slept together on Ivy's bachelorette party on Themyscira.



The season ended with Harley crashing the wedding, and Harley and Ivy running off together, with Gordon and the surviving GCPD in hot pursuit.

Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour #1 picks up exactly where they left off.

(minus several pages of car chases)

I don't think there's an official etiquette but If I see someone has banned me and they're on my post, they get banned as well. Hypothetically if I were to ban someone first I would just stay away from their posts.

I had a lot of trouble watching the Harley show because it had a lot of gore, and I'm super weak to it. But from what I've seen, it did a great job with the narrative of Harley, Ivy and Kiteman.

First they gave Kiteman some genuine merits so you can actually see why Ivy liked him: he took her on flying trips that actually did look really beautiful and relaxing, he could be thoughtful (like when he brought her potted plants arranged like a bouquet), he showed he did have a spine (like when he called out for agreeing to go out with him but then acting ashamed the whole time), he was very supportive (was totally cool with taking her last name, and when he noticed that she was sad he encouraged her to go out with her friends), and always tried his best to please her.

Then they showed that even though Ivy liked him, and even though she wanted to be in love with him, she just... couldn't. You can't control love. Ivy loved Harley.

Then they showed that, you know, even if you cheat because you are driven by love, cheating is nonetheless a really shitty thing that really hurts people. They had Ivy feel extremely guilty about it, and acknowledge that she did him super dirty.

Then they gave him the dignity of stating that he deserves better. Also, the implication is that the time he spent with Ivy may have given him the courage to stand up to his terrible parents, so it wasn't a Shaggy Dog Story.

Then they let Ivy and Harley make their escape and find their happy ending.

So, overall I think the writers did a really good job.

...Now, if only the Fandom could catch up. I swear the fandom is insane. Last time I checked, the Kiteman fans were obsessed with giving him a trophy girlfriend (even though the whole point of his arc was that he would rather be happily single than be an incel), while the Harlivy fans were foaming at the mouth bashing the shit out of Kiteman (apparently he is an evil abuser who manipulated Ivy. Really).

It is much better than I expected it to be from the first few clips.

I was ready for it to be tiresome and edgy, but it's actually good. It's an adult show in the sense that it's about grown up things, rather than saying shitcunt for giggles.

I don't know what the community etiquette is, but social norms would dictate that that's a very bad idea. It's super rude to engage somebody who was forcibly muted.

If you think commenting is really important because you want to make a point that you care about a lot, then the best course of action would be to temporarily unban OP. Engage their post while giving them the opportunity to reply, then the next day ban them again.

I mean not every conversation on a post is going to be with the OP. There are always going to be tangents and the like and maybe somebody wants to comment on the comic posted without neccessarily engaging with the OP themselves. There's not going to be two threads for every comic in case the OP of one has blocked people the other hasn't.

Let's hope they keep this sexual energy in season 3. Or at least the same amount as they had for the rest of the characters.

The overarching strategy here seems to be "let's all be nice" without promoting the culture or infrastructure needed.
