Shang-Chi is haunted by visions of what he believes to be a missing sister stranded in the Negative Zone.



Shang-Chi and his siblings later break into the Baxter Building to enter the Negative Zone. There they discover it's not his sister sending him messages but...







They take her with them. Back at the Baxter Building, the Fantastic Four aren't happy that Shang-Chi broke into their home and a confrontation ensues.

You'd think one of the world's smartest men (citation needed) would have better computer security.
It's not like his arch-foe is some kind of technological expert or anything.
... still, 's not like Shang-Chi unleashed a swarm of anything, so I don't get what Reed's throwing a tantrum about.
(Unless the point is to think he's a jackass. Which is redundant.)


Pretty impressive looking building work for an army of mantises.
Especially since they don't have thumbs... or fingers.
Or hands of any kind.

And using his dead friends DNA to create abominations that murder heroes?

Steve: So are you going to apologise now?

Reed's harder to get an apology out of than the Minister for Saying Stupid Things and Failing to Apologise for Them.

I mean is he even high intelligence?

Charles Xavier isn't even a scientist and he cured more diseases in a week than Reed has in his entire life

So either Reed's a moron or he just wasn't trying all that hard

Neither really writes a glowing review of his character

Would have been better if the caption stayed the same but the image showed a house made of sticks and leaves. Then we'd have an indicator that Mama-Chi isn't all there long before she started chittering to herself.

So if this is an ability her people have then does it mean Shang-Chi had powers all along and didn't know?

(I mean, it probably isn't just mantises. But it still seems like a highly specialised ability anyhow.
Like anyone could make a career out of talking to insects...)

The FF have helped their actual enemies on occasion when they need it. Not friends with connections to dubious organizations, enemies. Like Dr. Doom.

I does seem kind of judgmental on Reed's part given his family tree. Heck, I'm fairly sure that 616 Reed is that only version of Reed himself that isn't evil

I mean, lets be honest, Namor would be having a threesome with Sue and Doom but why split hairs?
