This is from The Haunt of Fear #15.

This was made into an episode of Tales from the Crypt where the old couple (and their daughter, not in this comic) were all played by none other than Tim Curry. The episode received three Emmy nominations, one for Curry and two for the costume design and makeup respectively. 

A down on his luck salesman's car breaks down. He finds a nearby house and asks for some help.



Inside they explain to him that a salesman ripped them off with a refrigerator that didn't work.

Tsk. Shoulda thought fast and said you were selling car insurance ("Fifteen minutes could blah blah blah"), bub.

But seriously - these "Would that be fucked up or what? Anyway, I'm Rod Serling the Crypt Keeper." stories are a real nice change of pace from the usual morality-yarns. Keep it up!

The TV adaptation improved on this by making the seller more scummy so his fate feels more deserving.
