I used to feel that same kind of thrill in superhero comics all the time. I’m a grown-up now, and comics have gotten pretty damn somber, occasionally even dreary. I still love them, I love what they are reaching for. But I miss that feeling that I was flying downhill and that no one had bothered to check if there was, you know, a way to stop. Nothing about this narrative suggests that the protagonist will grow up or learn anything from their experiences.

I'm not impressed with them, as stated above. If you decide to engage in something as stupid and contemptible as revenge, you should at least go all in on it. One should not confuse weakness for virtue.

Realizing that you are about to do something you shouldn't is a sign that you are growing up.

I have yet to check this series out in full beyond the scans I've seen posted but the cutie in the Naughty Santa outfit seems to definitely be checking out how nicely she fills out that costume here and I'm getting some vibes that I'm hoping I'm right about

What Ive seen posted here has given me a positive impression. I liked the "Eh, you got away, it happens. Drinks later?" bit. I expect Jones is going to find that heroing has more knock on advantages than villaining as the series goes on.
