Why couldn't this series have been about Sauron?

Finally. Into the Hole with both of them. And this is just the stupidest characterization of Sauron I have ever seen. He wouldn't hesitate to burn down the entire rain forest if it would bring his dream of turning people into dinosaurs to reality. ...unless...this is Nature Girl's power at work again. And if so, then it may work on Wolverine as well. Which mean they might not be going into the Hole! DAMMIT! Could someone PLEASE bring this demented episode of Captain Planet to an end?

I'm not going to lie I enjoy Sauron and Curse Girl friendship as they were entertaining as hell.

I like the idea of Sauron raising this horrible evil child as a loving evil dinosaur father like Killer Moth in the Teen Titans animated show with his daughter

So Curse's "good" wishes can just... brainwash people? Seems like stretching the way her powers had worked previously, and not quite in fitting with the good/bad luck nature of how her powers were seemingly established.

Sauron's not the last of his kind, he's a regular mutant, he just looks like that.

Blowing up the oil refinery (by... sprinting indoors and twisting and spinning a few unlabeled knobs and dials, which causes the whole place to explode in a matter of minutes, surely the way that real refineries work) seems like it's as close as Nature Girl has gotten to actually effective climate action supervillainy, but even that seems tremendously shortsighted because it's cause a ton of damage to the environment.

I think he's not a mutant (or, he's been mutated but he's not a big-M Mutant in the sense that Krakoa cars about). He is legitimately the last psychic vampire were-pterodactyl scientist. Also the first, which isn't a concept that comes up as much in radical environmentalist discourse, but there you are.

It's starting to sound less like a mutant power and more like magic. And we've been down that road before.

Well, not exactly. He was bitten by a mutated pterodactyl. Which somehow made him into a lifeforce vampire that turns into a dino-man when he absorbs either excessive amounts or those of a mutant. Silly, but not a mutant. Definitely not eligible for Kraoka residency.

Depends. Is the oil there brought in by barrel to be refined or is it actually connected with an oil pipeline? Because if it's the latter, boy howdy does that sound like it would be damaging.

Okay, this is really bugging me. How does the drilling at the bottom of the mountains cause oil to leak from the top with enough pressure to destroy Sauron’s lab?

I kept thinking it would turn around but it never does. It just gets worse and worse and not all the head canon in the world can save it. By the end, saying that it "will return" comes off as a threat.

Sauron is an energy vampire pterodactyl mutant who took the name Sauron becuase he thougt the LOTR villain had the evillest name he could think of.

He usually doesent have much motivation other than "supervillaining"
