Huh. My instinct is that anytime someone like Abigail Brand explains her real motives, she's lying in order to set up another, even deeper agenda, but I can't see any particular long game advantage to telling Gyrich this just before killing him. Maybe she is sincere, and is just gloating here. Gotta be hard being a secret supervillain and having to restrain yourself from chewing the scenery and explaining how great you are.

Abigail's name part is confusing , because she introduced herself as that and the only person who could ever knohw her actually name would be Beast..
She's not really that close to any of the other X-men.

Not sure, I am okay with how Cable's virus has been messed with.
Also Pro-Krakoa, so hoping Abigail fails here.

Long term I definitely want her to fail

Short-term I'm perfectly happy for her to be a far better useful monster than Beast could ever hope to be and for her to slaughter as many of Krakoa's enemies as possible

I hope this isn't Brand doing "bad things" so the X-Men and Council won't have to. That's annoyed me since IDENTITY CRISIS and even before. Or just "They don't really care about me, so screw them and their 'murder is bad' rules!"

When Wolverine was running the Jean Grey School, Cyclops was doing a "mutant revolution." Part of it was a bluff, and part of it was Cyclops being the "rebel who won't play by your rules" so Wolverine could be the good guy. Whatever that means.

This seems like a huge waste of what is clearly a Gyrich LMD.

Also, Brand may want to do some soul-searching. I takes a LOT to come off as the bad guy in an interaction with Gyrich.
