We've never seen these characters together. We've never seen Batman and the Doom Patrol together. We've never seen Superman and this version of the Doom Patrol together. We've never seen Doom Patrol villains in the Superman/Batman world. That's part of my own self-imposed rule for this book, is I want to fill it with things we've never seen before. -- Mark Waid
