What did we all make of it?
My general impression was

The Mighty
Goats!
Was that thing in front of them in Omnipotence City meant to be the cat from WWDITS?
The Mighty Thor was good. It was good to see her and Jane back
Emotional Growth Thor is the best version of the character.
"Thor will return"...but which one?
Mrs AWK turned up, which is always nice
The Unworthy
Bale's performance as Gorr was really inconsistent. It felt like the direction was "Let's try that line like you're the Joker" and then "Let's try that line like you're really calm and controlled" and then "Let's try that line like you're on the edge of incredible violence"
A lot of it seemed to be "And then this happened"
We didn't get Gorr's realisation that he had become a god, but on the whole the new story sort of worked for me.
Emotional Growth Thor being a dick about Heimdall's kid's name was a bit of a strange thing to put in the film.
It's alright, but it wasn't nearly as much fun as Ragnarok.
