Disney's Gargoyles getting a new comic series from Dynamite

X-Men 97 has revealed a couple of new character designs, and confirmed that Magneto as leader and an old school Hellfire Club will be included as baddies.

We have a theme song for Batwheels... which is exactly what you think it is

Shazam: Fury of the Gods looks fun. Hyped for X-Men '97. Hopefully they won't change the theme song too much.

Really interested in X-Men 97. Since it's going to air on a streaming service, does that mean there will be occasional swearing and more graphic violence like Young Justice season 3 onward or no?

It's Disney Plus, not Amazon. Where possible, they'll keep it clean. It may be a touch more violent to match the differences between the nineties standards and now, but they're not going to intentionally ramp things up for an audience beyond the target of the original.

Not that I expect it to go as far but the Marvel Zombies cartoon at least going to be TV-MA.

First news about Spidey's sophomore year is that it's got Daredevil.
And, uh, Nico Minoru as one of Peter's classmates.


What If...? season 2 is continuing the 'Ambiguously' Gay Adventures of Captain Carter and Black Widow.

Peter's 616 Midtown graduating class was lousy with (eventual) superpeople ... so why not add more?

Admittedly it isn't like the censors would let them do much with the Jessica Jones retcon. One episode of bleeping everything she says and she becomes "coma girl" sooner rather than later.

Marvel Zombies cartoon is coming. Pleasantly surprised that Awkwafina’s Shang-Chi character is one of the heroes.

Also She-Hulk trailer MUCH better and yes she talks to the camera. Really, casting Tatiana Maslany is a genius stroke, she nails it.

And Wakanda Forever has first glimpses of Namor and a dark mood so seems they really are killing off T'Challa.

Perfect song choice for the BP:WF trailer. Looks like there's a wedding taking place, as well. Here's hoping they're not going to kill T'chala off as he's getting married...

The atlanteans just look a lot like na'vi in the quick-cut glimpses we get of them! XD

Apparently in Avatar news there making a sequel movie to ATLA. I think the characters will be in their 20's but there's not a lot of detail right now.
Also some other comics. The next batch of Korra comics are going to come out some day they said.

Vanity Fair has Neil Gaiman do a breakdown of the Sandman trailer, which is quite good.

Less good: Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur cartoon is really not for me. Feels like Teen Titans GO is to Teen Titans but even cheaper and less funny

And Daredevil's getting a Disney+ series.

It's a whopping eighteen episodes long.
Presumably to satisfy those who thought the Netflix show wasn't long enough.
(My only real hope for this series is they let Charlie Cox friggen shave this time.
But I'm not holding my breath on that.)

I have to parse all the news slowly at the risk of information overload, especially after the Marvel panel.

Kind of interested in the Gargoyles series, I just hope Dynamite doesn't do it the was SLG with months between issues and non-completion due to SLG losing the license.

Wheel of Time was renewed for season 3 in advance of season 2.

William Shatner is joining the voice cast of MOTU: Revolution. It's not revealed who he's voicing.

The young-adults ATLA movie has me jazzed; I'd rather they stick with animation as opposed to live action.
