In the aftermath of the Nezha storyline, there's only one major plot point to be addressed: Due to Kara "Butterfingers" Zor-El accidentally dropping young Mr Grayson whilst time travelling, Robin is lost in history.

But you can't keep a good Boy Wonder down... and try to imagine how keen his Bat-dad and Super-uncle are to find him again...
Dick actually landed in South America in the 1890's where he gravitated towards his old life, and joined a travelling circus there, becoming an integral part of the circus family in very short order.
But though he loves to perform, he's feeling a little... adrift, and not just in time.

Awww, just look at that smile when he realises who it is that caught him, and then we see something I don't think we've seen before (Maybe a Golden Age story, or old school Super Friends comic), Batman and Robin PERFORMING, for FUN!

I love the completely low key "Bruce" "Dick" exchange, like they've just run into each other at the supermarket (Well, Dick is clearly excited, but Batman has a reputation to uphold.. but just TRY and tell me he's not loving this too!)

Date: 2022-08-16 09:06 pm (UTC)I did like that he introduced Bruce as "the Flying Fox", a name that Bruce adopted in an old Silver Age Superboy story in there 50's where (at the same age as Clark at about 15 or 16, but somehow not being an orphan yet) he visited Smallville and had to adopt an impromptu heroic identity. (And which was later used post Crisis in the Young All-Stars as a vague sort of alt-Batman in WWII after they could no longer use the Earth-2 Batman is stories from the 40's)
