That was only like 89,99% Wade's fault. Beast has enhanced agility, and eyes, he really should have been more aware of gigantic sleazoids falling over in his imminent vicinity.

At least that's a more coherent explanation for why beast is evil than we've gotten in the main continuity.

The Beast has been sliding into a default, amoral "ends justify the means/science transcends ethics" approach for a very long time now (remember how post M-Day, he was prepared to ally with Sinister when Sinister was still actively working against the X-Men... well, moreso than he is now), so I'd his Krakoan era personality is an extension of that rather than a radical new twist.

I mean, I miss the Beast who used to go out partying with Wonder Man, in appalling fashions, as much as the next 80's holdover, but even I don't see this Beast as a sudden shift, just the culmination of a long, depressing, drift,

But when Beast was doing all that stuff to try and save Mutantkind, he was very much not okay with crossing lines or dealing with Dark Beast.

These days he'd probably be egging Dark Beast on. Or chiding him for not being stupid and / or evil enough.

Yeah, but it's pretty disappointing to have this in a comic based on the show that made me like Beast in the first place.

Honestly a little surprised Arkon isn't there to sleep with Apocalypse.

Just saying Arkon has a type and it's powerful African mutant leaders who talk like they're performing classic theater.

Wade, buddy! And they're using the pre-yellow speech bubbles! Glad they kept his more...late 90s personality than his 92 one.

Not happy with Apocalypse. Feels like they didn't even try to get it right. No theatrical speeches and ranting, near Biblical sounding self promotion? No promises of the gift of oblivion? Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Okay. So they have Dark Beast now. That's bad. But, keeping positive, they did get an upgrade. Silver Samuari is now Gold Samuari! ...no idea who that third one is.

Arkon referred to himself as "a fair tyrant". Is he also a jumbo shrimp?

I didn't realize this series was a comedy...

It's based on a kid's cartoon and has Deadpool in it, the comic has shown incredible restraint in not ending with everybody laughing at a bad joke while panning away to a scenery shot

Getting resurrected fully costumed makes this hilarious to me. Like, Silver Samurai gets squished wherever, and the "choose color of armor paint" gets magically changed and everyone is all "my god, he's a different person!"

Animated Psylocke was in fact British.
They just never addressed whether she was running around in someone else's body or not.
Also she was a thief for no real reason.
(So apparently not a toff like regular Betsy.)
