So they're sticking with the Mayor Cage thing? Good. I hope he lasts longer than the last several ones they've had.

Or a fan of Hulk villains in general. Look at what happened to the U-Foes after their great showing in Immortal Hulk.

Possibly the only two to come out of it well are Xemnu (always the wild card, so no need for continuity other than "Hates the Hulk" and "Wants to TAKE OVER THE WORLD"), and the Leader, in that Ewing established a continuing pattern of self-sabotage such that his inevitable return to villainy won't feel out-of-place at all, just same ol' Sam trying his darndest.

I mean, they did very nearly kill Spider-Man, and put him out of commission for a while. Which set up Ben Riley on the path to... whatever the hell you want to call his current status. I'd call that pretty evil.

Writers can never decide if Abomination is a brainless brute or more calculating former spy.

As with Pym Particles, Gamma Rays have been known to mess with people's heads.

(Though obviously Bruce is an extreme example)

It probably doesn't help that his powerset doesn't lend itself well to espionage.

So what level is Persuasion at now? That is her name, right? I could swear she decided against "Purple Girl" due to obvious reasons. Seems like she doesn't accidentally command people anymore. She can focus on one person in particular. How close is she to her old man's level?

Well, she does mention that she needs to get close to the others, so presumably she can't control the focus enough to shout across a crowd without catching people other than the target inadvertently.
