Exodus is probably the mutant who has the most in common with Ikaris, in being an idealistic himbo that you point at things if you want those things to be horribly injured and/or dead.

They do differ greatly in one respect:

Ikaris: Guhhh, I'm not a god, guys.

Exodus: Oh, I'm totally a god.

Exodus only thinks of himself as a devout servant of God. What sort of a god looks up to a mere messiah, after all?

I'd say it's more:

IKARIS: "I've been a God, but the best legacy I could leave you people with was a story of a boy who fell down, fatally. So I'm good just being an Eternal. Even if I still don't understand why he fell down. The sun's where you get your energy! Surely he should have been FASTER!"

EXODUS: "Look, I'm the first to admit I've gone through a lot of Messiahs, but third time's the charm, and I have a good feeling about this one. She's a redhead!"
