Note that "Tyro" is a word meaning 'novice' - and "Wilde", while having a fairly clear meaning, also reflects on the author of "The Picture of Dorian Grey", another story in which the protagonist has no choice but to watch himself grow more monstrous with every moment he remains alive.

"Bedlam" isn't hugely symbolic beyond the surface level, but it is kind of clever of Ewing to choose a word so phonetically similar to "Venom" as foreshadowing. That and it being red, the symbiote colour he associates most with uncontrolled destruction.

It's unfrotunately quite likely Stitches Guy is the evil asshole guy who took over as Venom under Mike Costa.

As for the rest? No clue.

I like that there are weird, mind-fuckery consequences for a human being (well, sorta) toppling an alien god that predates the current universe and assuming its place.

I had a suspicion that Meridius would turn out to be a future version of Eddie Brock, but the reveal that all of the depicted Kings in Black are/will be was a delicious surprise.
