scans_dailyIssue #1066 had had Bruce Wayne talking to one of the Orghams of Svatrstal about ideals - and Batman confronting one of the Orghams' operatives, one of the shadows behind their public philanthrophy.
Victor Fries had been a third party in the conflict, someone of interest to the Orghams. He'd exited the scene, setting off devices that froze the other two to the spot.
The Orgham man, Gael Tenclaw the werewolf, was breaking free of the cold with his strength - as Batman was with a device in his belt. Something else surged into their near-the-river stage - running water that drove Gael above ground, that washed Batman away and left him prone.
Batman awoke in a cold lair.
Victor, freeze-gun enforcing distance, tossed what Gael'd tried to inflict on him to Batman.
He opened a way out for Batman.
" I hope with this favor done, you will leave me alone here.. to my own ends. "
Aboveground, Arzen Orgham was thinking about the work he was spearheading - addressing his thoughts to his mother who'd charged him with that work.
Bruce opened the door.
Shavhod put forward the Orghams' proposal.
" We would like to buy these housing projects in their entirety from Wayne Realty. "
Her rhetoric received an almost boilerplate response: " Despite their problems, the housing in the Narrows is a vital part of the company's socially conscious work in Gotham..
She and hers left.
" When the sun shines upon the ivory towers of this city.. " trailed Shavhod,
" I lost my father when I was very young as well. " said Arzen.
Bruce drove off.
