It's the day we celebrate Moms

Tomorrow is Mother's Day so here are some random Mom moments (some my own and some not) from the DCU.

I like that Kate Spencer isn't the "perfect" mom, but Ramsey thinks she is.

Ma Kent does not put up with any crap at her dinner table.

The best mom in the DCU, IMO, Bianca Reyes.

Lois finally got to be a mom to Chris. Isn't he over 18 now? Has he met Wonder Woman? Hmm...

What is it with mothers and grandchildren?

Alfred and his granddaughter ^^

Remember when Dinah was a mother? I sure as hell hope someone at DC does.

I hope all of you lucky enough to have a mom you love and who loves you, did something for her for Mother's Day. If you haven't yet than perhaps this moment between Dinah Lance and her dying Mom will give you the incentive you need.

Glad there's something for mothers in comics, cause comic book movies aren't giving mothers anything. I still remember watching the Superman movie with the commentary track and Richard Donner said "Susannah York came to me and said, 'what does the mother give him?'". That made me sad.

It's kinda sad that DC didn't explore motherhood further with some of the capes. Selina, Dinah, Lois. It would've made them more interesting.

And I'm wondering why Lois wants Chris to be 16 when he finally meets Batman. Doesn't she know that's the age group he likes?

Selina especially -- her giving up Helena was just stupid, when Alfred would happily take care of the tot *whenever she asked*.

And nobody's going to harm a child under Alfred's care.

Yeah, Selina and Helena should've just moved in the manor. It's huge, they've got Alfred (and Tim) to babysit the kid when Selina's not around, and maybe Damian would've been less of a brat with a kid in the house. (Or more?)

Oh yeah, they've shown her more than a few times, but she 'changed'. Before Beau Smith got his hands on her, she was usually shown as a smallish woman who looked like anyone's mother. In the Guy Gardner: Warrior series, she was shown as a somewhat scary large red headed woman. I looked, but I couldn't find any pictures. But she was Guy's "Big Momma". She would have eaten this "Bianca Reyes" for breakfast.
