Wait, if Patriot became Captain America...then who's Bucky over there?

On the other hand Hulkling is rocking his Marvel outfit.

Everyone there is from the YA roster except for the Bucky kid and Falcon.

And his hair's kinda sorta REALLY HORRIBLE.

I'll make a guess that Billy and mom have warped reality and are in a bubble of magic the team has to find or somesuch.

Yeah, that's pretty nifty. I've always felt that the Young Avenger's future would be something worth exploring (perhaps even more so than their present) and my fondness for both Kang and the all-white design of the Vision makes this a pretty definite Must Have.

Also, My Oh My, Hulking sure grew into that Captain Marvel costume quite nicely... *fans himself*

However, this is one of the worst and most confusing titles for a comic book that I have ever seen.

I think the three titles means it's an alternate universe that isn't in the 616 verse.

BUT YES, I've been waiting for a look at the YA's future. Just didn't think my prayers would be answered so soon.

I'm hoping Billy is helping Wanda adjust to being back in the MU or is, at worst, spending some quality time with her in whatever hex bubble reality she's sequestered herself in, and he'll be back shortly.

Surely even Marvel wouldn't be so insane as to kill off one half of their only real gay male superhero relationship?

This is another alternate future, so yeah, Billy's probably dead. Or evil. I mean, someone's got to be dead or evil.

But oy, oooooyyyy. I actually liked Patriot as Patriot (name, I mean) in terms of its symbolism and whatnot, but him taking on the name Captain America - it's a nice circle and a story that could be interesting.

I must say, I prefer Kate's original costume- the deep purple and its asymmetry is boss. Bwoy, Alan Davis, you couldn't do any better? Your pencils were kinda charming on YA Presents: Hawkeye, you drew the hell out of Avengers Prime. What is this? I know that not every artist can be Jim Cheung (quiet in penny section) but.

The art is making me go "LOL, no, stay away!" but the writer (Heinberg) will make me hand over my money.

If Billy should die though, that's gonna be a DICK MOVE, Marvel. A DICK MOVE, worthy of Iron Dickery.

Eh, I'm not worried. It's just an alternate future. Children's Crusade won't even be half way over by this point. And A:CC is irrefutably Wiccan's story, there's no way he's dying this early. Maybe at the end.

I love that Cassie is a red version Stinger, it's a nice nod to MC2
Teddy looks really good in that green and white Captain Marvel costume, I like that he isn't wearing the red and blue, the green is a nod to his past as Hulkling and his Skrull roots, plus it's the color scheme of the Kree soldier uniform. It really works for him.

I have this theory that Bucky and Falcon are Eli's brother and sister. He's supposed to have siblings who moved with their mom, Sarah, to Scottsdale.

Yeah, if you go back and read the last issue of Truth, the Kyle Baker miniseries that introduced Elijah Bradley, Cap visits Elijah's apartment and there are about twelve grandchildren tussling in the living room. The Bradleys are like the Guthries; any time anybody wants, we can have another six or eight of them show up.

I'm taking the solicit as saying that the YA are going to encounter an alternate future version of themselves, which is the guys on the cover.

Billy's probably going to be fine.

Hope they have card blanche to do what they want and produce a good series. This is so on my pull list.

My guess is, Billy's the cause of this. This seems like some sort of altered reality, a la House of M, only a more benevolent version. And remember whose powers caused that...

He's probably hiding away somewhere, and they have to find him.

All the same, though, with DC freaking me out about Blue Beetle's health and now Marvel making me worry about Wiccan's whereabouts, I'm not going to be the happiest fangirl come March. Y u do dis, comics? D:
