I am posting this link to a pretty awesome Tumbler, I was gonna post an interview from CBR featuring the cast of Smallville mainly because i loved Erica Durance's interview. because of legality i was searching for badass Lois Lane moments, sadly it is easier said than done (seriously people! this is Lois G-Damed Lane... Any ways on the while looking for said images (posted below) i came across this tumbler site and found they also posted this interview! so i decided to grab some images from it for legality and just give you the link to the interview they had posted there and the blog itself.
:D
Really Love the show or hate it, i think this Lois Lane has been one that best bridged the gap between Margot Kidder and the Comics. In my head when i think lois lane, i will see images of both Kidder and Durance in my mind.
The interview: (half way through it gets emotional)

The Blog: http://fuckyeahlois.tumblr.com/
The Legality
From Birds of Prey (some one help me with this issue number please)

From...I don't know, the art looks like the guy that did Green Arrow a while back, so its fairly recent... but it looks to be a flash back.... (coudl use some help here too)
I posted this one mainly because as a film lover the reference to lavender/lilac made me giggle
PS: Really there is a very large lack of awesome Lois Lane moments (i know she has them, but they are very hard to find. Maybe we should Do a Lois Lane Week or something, really its deplorable.

Date: 2011-05-13 07:22 pm (UTC)I didn't want to watch Smallville because I had heard he wouldn't be putting on the suit. Ten years later, I wish I had. But it's fun having it the whole thing in the Netflix queue. I'm up to season 3, episode 8.
Favorite moments so far: Jonathan says to try to lift the tractor one more time, and Clark throws it a half mile away. The headpalm look from Jonathan and the sheepish look from Clark are perfect, while the tractor is still spinning away in the background. Also, when Clark was thrown in the furnace, I was thinking, oh, great, he'll come out with singed boots or something. Whoa, shocker, everything burned completely away! If only the flames had died down, it would have been a full reversal. :D
So I'm already following fuckyeahlois, anyone want another follower? Although I might be following you already, I'm not sure because there's 105 so far, and people's LiveJournal, Dreamwidth and/or Tumblr names frequently don't match.

Date: 2011-05-13 07:29 pm (UTC)yeah some seasons were better than others. Even the bad seasons have had great stuff. The last... three seasons, abouts, have been great and this last season has been REMARKABLE

Anyway, I love almost everything about it so far. Too bad there's not another quality series in the works to take its place.

Date: 2011-05-13 07:52 pm (UTC)Kidder and Byrne
Date: 2011-05-13 07:51 pm (UTC)I also think Lois is the character who benefited most from the reorganization and reinvention engendered by Crisis on Infinite Earths. Folks may not agree, but John Byrne's "Man of Steel" took the ball Margo got rolling and ran with it. Of all the things we saw Byrne do that have been retconned back out of Superman's mythos over the intervening years, his changes to Lois and Luthor were the ones that were most needed, and the ones that stuck.

Date: 2011-05-13 08:09 pm (UTC)she was hard as nails without being a ball breaker (unless she had to... because sometimes, you know, you have to :D and she was defiantely not the "How am i gonna get superman to marry me?"

Date: 2011-05-13 08:31 pm (UTC)As for Smallville, it should have gone off the air five years ago. The show's quality has declined steadily ever since.

Date: 2011-05-14 02:46 am (UTC)romancefriendship. I've found parts of it somewhat enjoyable, and I agree: while I liked that female character (who was coincidentally named Lois Lane) who Durance played, that character ain't Lois Lane ;)no subject
