scans_dailyPreviously X-Treme X-Men, Dazzler, Howlett, Kurt, Emmeline and a head of Xavier had started their journey into alternate worlds; their mission: kill evil Xaviers across the multiverse.
And they found themselves here:
Dazzler and the whole group actually try to go along the "Gods" for a while following Emmeline's lead; but eventually, after Dazzler moves Storm to tears with a song they decide to kill them anyway (Also they put Dazzler in the skimpiest outfit ever).
Guess who comes to the rescue?
That's right, Steampunk Xavier and a horribly dressed Magneto!
Everyone but Emmeline and head!Xavier join Steampunk Xavier & Magnus.
*ouch*
Utopia is very much a Steampunk dream come true. Howlett has an encounter with Hercules (but he's with the mortals even if he's a god!)
O_O did not expect that implied pairing.
well I guess that'll makeshadowpsykie happy at least.
Steampunk!Xavier tries to get in the head of the people in God city, but doesn't get far before Emmeline and head!Xavier detect him.
(this was a gratuitous shippy panel)
After that he decides to the only solution is to attack god city and to kill all psychics.
During the attack:
And then everyone fights steampunk Xavier and Dazzler takes him down, and...
I, I, I... *whimper*
I think i'm done for today.

It was very quick. Then again it was only two issues. The only foreshadowing we really had was the previous knowledge that it was about hunting evil Xaviers.

I'm assuming, trying to fit the Classical Gods theme; and not caring how uncool it looks. I dunno.
