SPAK
Iron Man #194: Enforcer.
Thing #24: Miracle Man
Secret Wars II #2: Hate-Monger android.
Thor #358: Megatak.
Avengers #263: Melter.
Thing #33: Titania of the Grapplers.
Fantastic Four #289: Basilisk.
Amazing Spider-Man #276: The Fly.
Marvel Fangare #29: Hammer and Anvil.
Captain America #318: Death Adder and Blue Streak.
I'm only featuring successful hits here, so the scene from West Coast Avengers doesn't count. (Scourge targets Kraven the Hunter, but gives up because he can't get a clear shot. Kraven was fighting Tigra at the time). The same goes for the issue of Amazing Spider-Man where Scourge targets Flash Thompson because he hqs been gramed for being the Hobgoblin. The massacre at the Bar With No Name deserves its own seperate post.

Date: 2023-02-20 03:26 pm (UTC)The massacre at the Bar with No Name generally didn't stick (any more than the Punisher mass murdering people there, too) due to the fact that they just killed way too many notable C-listers. Some of these characters did come back (and then were subsequently RE-killed, like Blue Streak, there).

Date: 2023-02-20 03:52 pm (UTC)Miracle Man was the first villain that the FF fought, and Melter was among Iron Man's first.
Though I've never had a hard time against killing characters, I really hate how it's done here. All of the deaths are 'rocks fall, everyone dies'.
Just once I'd love to see a character go down fighting, giving as good as they get.

(Think they leave that bit out in the training.)

Though poor, dumb Basilisk, coming back just to get blown out the window.
Sucks to be him.
Actually, come to think of it, Death Adder's execution was a big hint the Scourge wasn't just one person, given they'd already shot him down.
How would they have time to shoot him down, rig up a suitable disguise and find him before he'd got away?
Curious how these guns can blow up a person's face, yet also not produce a single physical sign of gore.
The reveal, a few years down the line, of who was the real mastermind of the Scourge is an odd one.
Gruenwald was getting to the "hero from the 40s returns, but now they're a bad guy!" trend way ahead of the curve...
